Plastic innovation and solutions

Douglas Woodring will speak on Ocean Recovery of plastics. Mr. Woodring is the Lead Expert of Rebound Limited, a new exchange platform for the global trade of plastic feedstock for recycling, based in the UAE. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of Ocean Recovery Alliance, a non-profit organization which is focused on bringing together innovative solutions, technology, collaborations and policy to create positive improvements for the health of the ocean. Two of its global programs were launched at the Clinton Global Initiative, and he was recently was awarded the 2018 Prince’s Prize for Innovative Philanthropy by Prince Albert of Monaco.
