Ashley Ekelund, a Kamloops-local and RYE alumnus from Daybreak Rotary will speak on her journey through Rotary youth programs, what is was like to be an Ambassadorial scholar studying international development abroad, and how it led to her return home and current career in environmental conservation with the British Columbia Conservation Foundation.The early-musings that will one-day build a heartfelt and honest presentation to Rotary entitled "Why I left International Development".
